Trapped within the confines of my mind
Alone with my hung soul
Scared and shuttering in the corner
Waiting for an embrace from the one

I'll wait for her forever
But I'm frightened by my thoughts
I close my eyes tighter and tighter
But I still see everything

Please don't make me wait
Release me from my prison
I long to be shrouded in your light
My darkness is much too cold
